This was a very special night and show for me...

First of all, the important thing is that  we managed to raise some money for www.blueslab.org, a great organization that provides instruments to kids...(I told ya Dane!) A major thanks to all who attended and contributed to the night...

I had an incredible group of musicians and friends onstage with me that night...Train's producer,  Curtis Mathewson
(P) on Guitar, Dread Zeppelin's  Howard Ulyate (P) on Bass, Fiona Apple's  Joe Simon on Keyboards and Equbud Mot on Percussion (P)....a HUGE thanks to them for making me sound so good...Also, thanks to Chip Moreland , Paul Edwards, Vicky Hamilton, and Rusty Anderson for coming by to lend their moral support...

Although we only had ONE full band rehearsal, (Whew!), It felt so amazing to share the stage with these great musicians...I especially enjoyed playing "the avenging angel of sierra leone" (Too many chord changes...Doh!),  "until you come back to me" (Django look out!), and Into the Strange with Curtis on guitar, the only song we performed that he and I share writing credit on...

It was the first time in ages that Howard, Curtis and I played together and I want to thank them especially for kicking in to a great night...

Lest I forget, the night also marked the debut of the "Electrified Chair of screamin' wonder and redemption!" Thanks to artist Nina Loizos for designing the chair with me.

I hope to have some live recordings from the night posted in MUSIC very soon...
